Chao

If you  are planning  to  taste some  of the  Vietnamese delicacies  during your trip to  Vietnam, do  not  forget  to  taste some  of its  best  known dishes. Ou  are  sure to  love  them.  vietnamse cuisine is famous round the  world  for their great taste  and flavor. People who  have  visited  this southeast Asian country  have  praised  its cuisine and rated  it highly. There are a number of  tasty dishes in  Vietnamese  cuisine. Some of them are very spicy while the others tantalize your taste buds with a sour taste. But if you  want  to eat something which is  easy  to digest then Chao  can  be  the safest bait for you.

 

Chao is a well known Vietnamese delicacy.  This dish  is  nothing but a tasty  rice  porridge. Rice porridge is  one  of the  most  common  dish in southeast  Asia.  You can find different variants of  rice porridge in different countries of southeast Asia.  There are  a  number  of varieties of the rice porridge  among which  Chao is the Vietnamese  way of cooking  the meal.  Chao  is  sometimes  cooked with  pandan  leaves.  There are a number of  varieties  of  chao  itself. You  are sure  to love  some of the  mouthwatering varieties of this dish.

Chao Ga is one of the popular  variants of  Chao which is  cooked with chicken and garlic. The dish cooked with duck meat  is  known  as  Chao Vit.  There is another  well known  variant of Chao which is made with long heo or a  kind of  sausage  made  from  a variety  of  pig  organs.

Chao  also  has  some connection with the  culture of  Vietnam. Chao  is made for the death anniversary ceremonies.  In those  ceremonies this dish is offered  to the ancestors.  Chao is also  a staple  food  for the sick  people of Vietnam they  prefer  this dish as it is very easy to digest.
